Charity Journey: From Bridges of Love to the Nga Cay Road – Tue Tam Road 002

With a mission not only to grow its business but also to make meaningful contributions to the community, Vietnam Import Export Trading Joint Stock Company has consistently taken part in impactful charity initiatives.

Following the success of two previous bridge projects — Hung Loc Bridge (Tue Tam Bridge 421) and Phat Loc Bridge (Tue Tam Bridge 422) — the company continued its philanthropic journey by sponsoring the construction of Nga Cay Road (Tue Tam Road 002) in Thanh Loc 2 Hamlet, Trung An Commune, Co Do District, Can Tho City.

Breaking Ground for a Better Future

On the morning of November 9, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony for Nga Cay Road officially took place — marking a significant milestone in the improvement of the local transportation infrastructure.

The old road, over 15 years old, had seriously deteriorated, causing great hardship for around 230 households, especially schoolchildren and those transporting agricultural products.

Understanding these difficulties, we joined hands with local authorities and the Tue Tam VH Group to help bring a new, safer, and more spacious road to the community.

Investing in the Community – Building Sustainable Values

As a leading business in trade and import-export, Vietnam Import Export Trading Joint Stock Company considers social responsibility a guiding principle in its development journey.

For this project, the total construction cost amounted to VND 280 million, with VND 210 million sponsored by our company — once again affirming our commitment to contributing to the country’s rural development.

Tue Tam Road 002 is designed to be 750 meters long and 3 meters wide, built with reinforced concrete to ensure durability. The road will greatly ease travel for local residents and help promote economic activities in the area. Upon completion, it will not only improve everyday commuting but also create more opportunities for trade and better livelihoods for the local community.
